Guess who’s back? It’s Overwatch and it’s starting to reappear on the trends list this week. Now that the hype for No Man’s Sky is pretty dead (people are still enjoying it but the searches on YouTube are abysmal) this game is making a comeback on YouTube.
Viewers are enjoying high intensity multiplayer matches, top plays, play montages, and newbie guides for players who are just getting into the game. We highly recommend trying out those types of videos, instead of just the standard gameplay streams and videos.
4. Grand Theft Auto 5
Unfortunately, this game got knocked down a peg since the release of World of Warcraft: Legion, but it is still going strong as a consistent trend. This trend can be hard to tap into because there’s already so much content surrounding it, but if you have unique ideas or interesting trick shots, viewers will be interested.
3. World of Warcraft: Legion
With the recent expansion well underway, this game has shot through the ranks to appear at number 3 on this list. Fans both new and old alike are enjoying this game, and while there may be quite a bit of content rolling around, helpful videos are making their way onto the scene.
Dungeon walkthroughs, Demon Hunter guides, and more “helpful” videos are all the way to get this trend working for you, but not get lost in all the other gameplay videos.
2. League of Legends
League of Legends is trying to regain its number one spot, but, well, that spot is way out of reach right now. The important thing to remember is that this game is always trending, so making your mark on the trend can be quite difficult. You either have to be very good at the game, or have interesting ideas for gameplay footage (mainly machinimas and the like).
1. Pokemon Go
This game just won’t stop being number one, and we see no signs of it slowing down. There are tons of people looking for content about this game, from videos about rare Pokemon to videos about how to aim their Pokeballs properly.
While the internet is inundated with content about this game, it is still possible to carve out your niche with something a bit more interesting. Try dressing/cosplaying like a Trainer while you play, or making guides for players who are just learning about Pokemon Go.
