Dishonored 2 is out, and this is everything you need to know.
Fans have been waiting a long time for Dishonored 2, and it’s finally here. If you’re thinking of picking up this recent game release, there are some things you should know about the brand new Dishonored 2.

You Can Play As Both Characters
While the first Dishonored only allowed you to play as one character, Corvo Attano, Dishonored 2 allows you to also play as his daughter, Emily Kaldwin. You can play the story through as both characters, which can make for some interesting viewpoints.
Daddy’s Little Girl Is All Grown Up
The story continues from the first Dishonored, but it’s been 15 years, and Corvo’s daughter is an adult now. She’s serious, deadly, and wants her rightful place on the throne back from the supernatural usurpers that have stolen it.
She also wields the Mark of the Outsider, which grants her access to some pretty neat tricks while playing as her in Dishonored 2.
Unique Selection Of Skills
Both characters have their own set of skills to learn, and all new non-lethal moves to experiment with. Corvo retains most of the moves you remember from the first game, but they’ve obviously been reset at the start of Dishonored 2. His skillset revolves more about damage, movement, and time manipulation.
Emily’s got the newer powers, and they rely more on distraction, movement, and misdirection. Each power the duo wields had lethal and non-lethal upgrades, so you’ll have to choose how you want to run the game.
Return Of The Chaos System
The chaos system has been updated for this game! It now has three differing categories that you can play with, and they are low-chaos, high-chaos, and very high-chaos. These pair off with various other decisions you make in the game, and can result in drastically different endings.
Which faction you help, who you choose to kill, and how you choose to kill them, will all affect your potential endings in Dishonored 2.
Awesome Living Setting
We’re heading to Corvo’s homeland in this game, Serkonos, and taking residence up in the capital, Karnaca. It’s a stark difference from the previous game, reminding players of the Mediterranean coastline with it’s sun-swept alleyways.
The locale is currently amidst an economic crisis, caused by the overworking of it’s inhabitants to the point where they are covered in dust and debris. There are also bloodflies that reside in corpses…waiting to strike out against anyone who enters their territory.
It’s a world full of treachery and treacherous things that any skillful player would be hard-pressed to avoid.
