Get ready for the most amazing new games!
We’ve kinda been in a drought this past week for awesome summer releases, but this week begs to differ! We’ve got 5 amazing new games for you to check out, while you’re taking a break from Pokemon Go.

This is a fun little card game currently out for PC, iOS, and Android. It’s different from other card games, however, in the sense that you need to swipe the cards you draw left or right to make decisions impacting the kingdom.
Make the wrong swipe, and your kingdom could come crashing down upon you! You can also play as a benevolent or malevolent leader, so you can be kind or cruel. Definitely a fun little grab for your morning train/bus commute.
Get ready for a hack and slash game based completely in ASCII! This PS4 game is a homage to the original ASCII dungeon crawlers from way back when gaming on computers was still a luxury afforded by few.
It’s also got roguelike elements, so be prepared to take some shots to the face during your excursions into Brut@l. You’v got four classes to choose from (a la Gauntlet), and each has strengths and weaknesses that need to be taken into account.
3. Blade Ballet
Okay, so, this game is crazy. It’s basically like Beyblades and BattleBots had a baby and it turned into a game. Enjoy annihilating your opponents (or getting annihilated yourself) as one of four robots in a battle arena or minigame arena.
It’s out on PS4 and PC, so grab four buddies and start the carnage!
4. Heart & Slash
It’s another interesting roguelike game, and in this one you play as a robot named Heart, rebelling against a cold robot world where humans no longer exist. It has a graphical style that feels very old-school without being ugly.
Gamers are already reporting in that the gameplay is pretty solid, once you get used to it, and that the combat is faster than expected.
5. No Man’s Sky
It here, it’s here, it’s finally here! No Man’s Sky is out for PS4 and PC, and gamers are eating it up! Be a space explorer, in this procedurally generated planet crawler, as you blast off in your own spaceship and discover new flora, fauna, and aliens on remote worlds.
Each world is unique, and there are countless numbers of them to explore. You’ll also experience space combat as you start amassing more cargo (space pirates are no joke), and the “goal” is to make it to the center of the universe, though that can be put off in favor of vast exploration. Good luck!

Players have already clocked an innumerable amount of time in No Man’s Sky, and they have still barely scratched the surface. Are you getting in on the space exploration, or are you more excited for other amazing new games?
