7. Jack’s Wrench
In a few specific places in BioShock Infinite, like right after you get the kill on your first Crow enemy, you should be able to see a wrench tucked away on the floor near a machine. There are many of these wrenches throughout the game, and they’re there for a purpose.
They’re an homage to the original wrench weapon from the original BioShock. While you spent much of that game knocking other people around with Jack’s wrench, in BioShock Infinite, you get whacked with it by Elizabeth. We guess turnabout’s fair play?
6. Wakka Wakka Wakka
If you head over to the Farmer’s Market in BioShock, there will be a place named the Worley Winery. Make your way to the back of this winery to find a suspicious wheel of cheese on the ground and a few bullet holes in the floor next to it.
5. Albert Fink Is A Fraud
Throughout the BioShock series, you should be able to find multiple record players scattered around Rapture, with records in them labeled “Rapture Records”. These are also many stores where you can buy music, or musical instruments, named Rapture Records. We figure Rapture Records is just a music company, right?
Well, in BioShock Infinite, the musical “genius” Albert Fink steals all of these songs and pawns them off as his own. As you play the game, you realize that the music of Columbia is actually the music of Rapture!
4. BioShock‘s Plane Tail
Remember the opening scene from BioShock where you were in a plane crash? Take a good look at that plane tail sinking into the water. You’ll notice it when you’re playing in BioShock 2, about a half hour into the game!
3. Revenge Of The Jedi
In BioShock Infinite, before you get to release Elizabeth from her tower, you’ll be able to observe her through some windows.
She opens a Tear to France, and in that Tear you will see the name of a movie in French, “La Revanche Du Jedi”. “The Revenge of The Jedi” was what Return Of The Jedi was originally supposed to be titled, before it was changed.
2. Unstable Teleport Plasmid
There was originally meant to be a teleport plasmid in BioShock, but it was removed before launch because of instability and the plasmid causing too many bugs and errors. The community, of course, figured out about it and it started quite the discussion about that particular plasmid.
It was made a reality in the form of an easter egg in BioShock 2. If you head to Fontaine Futuristics, you can find a jar of the unstable teleport plasmid on a desk. Keep poking the plasmid to see what happens. We promise it’s awesome.
1. Elizabeth Sings
Head over to The Graveyard Shift bar in BioShock Infinite and head all the way down to the basement to discover a kid stealing an apple. The kid runs away, but there’s an interactable guitar leaning against a seat nearby.
Pick that guitar up and start strumming to hear Elizabeth sing. She’s quite good.
