4. Use Some Poké-tracking
Now, this one might be considered cheating, and the current fanbase is pretty split on the issue, but there are several websites and apps right now for tracking Pokémon in real life, and accurately, too!
Places like Poké Radar and PokeSpotter help you catch Pokémon from all over the world with players placing markers where they found Pokémon (those markers can be ranked for how useful they are to stop trolling).
Though, people are still finding ways to troll the website users in different areas of the world. Well done, guys, well done.

Personally, I find Pokévision to be the best of the Pokémon tracking sites, but I’m expecting them to have to fight to stay alive once Niantic fixes their servers and can concentrate on other things.
